Santorini Grill to join Mequon Public Market at Spur 16

Mediterranean restaurant Santorini Grill was named Tuesday as the final tenant for the Mequon Public Market.
The market, by Shaffer Development, is part of the Spur 16 project off Mequon Road in Mequon. The dining option is a concept by Spiro Asimakopoulos and his fiance, Angela Pagoulatos, who together own Crave in Mequon.
Santorini Grill will feature authentic, homemade Greek cuisine, according to a news release. Menu items are expected to include gyros, shish kabobs, lamb, pastitsio and other Greek classics.
Shaffer Development owner Cindy Shaffer said in the announcement that Santorini Grill will fill a niche for Greek food in the community.
The public market is next to St. Paul Seafood Co.’s fish market, oyster bar and sit-down restaurant at Spur 16.
Santorini Grill joins previously announced tenants at the public market, including Anodyne Coffee, Beans & Barley, Purple Door Ice Cream, Café Corazon, Bavette La Boucherie, Happy Dough Lucky, Bowls, Screaming Tunaand Terrain.
The Mequon Public Market is expected to open in early June.
